- tep Guide Introduction Sanima Bank offers a scholarship program to support deserving and economically disadvantaged students from government or community schools who wish to continue into higher secondary education (Class 11 and 12). This guide explains how to check eligibility, gather documents, fill the application, and submit it. It combines the information from the scholarship notice (Sanima Bank) and widely reported application guides. Sanima Bank has been providing scholarships since the fiscal year 2068/69 to 2-2 poor and disadvantaged students from each of its branches outside the Kathmandu Valley. The scholarship covers institutional and academic fees as well as a monthly cash stipend of NPR 2,000(class 11 & 12).To continue this scholarship, the bank is inviting applications from deserving students who are residents of districts with a Sanima Bank branch outside the Kathmandu Valley. Applicants should be poor and disadvantaged, belong to a marginalized group, or be a person with a disability, and must have passed the SEE examination in 2081. The scholarship amount will be as determined by the bank Scholarship Information and Required Documents: 1.The applicant must be a permanent resident of the district where the bank’s branch is located. 2.The applicant must submit a recommendation letter or an identity card from the ward office, certifying they are poor, disadvantaged, or belong to a marginalized group or have a disability, based on their needs. 3.The applicant must have continuously studied for the last three years in a government/community school within the same district and have obtained a minimum of a ‘B’ grade on their first attempt at the SEE. 4.The applicant must pursue studies in a subject/faculty available at a government/community secondary school within the same district. The academic institution and faculty must be chosen by the applicant themselves. 5.The applicant must submit a letter from the desired educational institution confirming that He/she is studying there and the fees are not higher than the amount being offered by the bank for the scholarship. 6.The applicant must be enrolled and attending as a regular student. 7.The final selection of poor, disadvantaged, and disabled candidates will be made by a scholarship selection committee formed by the bank. The selection process will be impartial. The scholarship selection committee will conduct a background check and interview of the applicants and their family members. Applicants must not be relatives of any bank employee, management committee member, or staff. 8.The scholarship will be effective from the date of admission to the educational institution. 9.The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship at the moment. 10.The application form can be obtained free of charge from the bank’s branch office.
